The goal was to replace a legacy system and optimize processes—especially in replenishment and sequencing.


» Requirements

  • 4 interfaces (sequence calls, tachograph, ASN goods issue, picking call for reorders)
  • Goods receipt with 1D and 2D VDA labels
  • Replenishment to fixed picking locations, taking into account FIFO and index changes
  • Sequencing in reverse order
  • JIS and JIT loading including digital shipping notification

  • 20% savings in process costs in replenishment and sequencing
  • Successful use of moviniti from 2019 to the present
  • Further optimizations were implemented after go-live, e.g., digitization of the manual process of filling missing parts during the sequencing
